Industrial Waste Management

The industry generates a big amount of waste, which may be recoverable through different processes. ERG Ingenieros has worked on several projects designing industrial process which controls and recovers the waste.

OIL WASTE MANAGEMENT
Used oils from industry and automotive industry are considered as hazardous or toxic waste because they are high water contaminant and contain heavy metals. Therefore, there is a strict environmental regulation that requires proper management for them.

ERG Ingenieros have done several projects for construction and optimization for pretreatment plants, declassification, dehydration and demetallization oils, as well as the firm is responsible for the waste collection management, in order to recovery for lubricants and biodiesel for transportation vehicles.

FOOD WASTE MANAGEMENT
The increasing of food waste is being encouraged by the legislation that prioritizes recycling and recovery of waste as an alternative to deposition in landfills. Composting is presented as a sustainable technology for agri-food waste. This technology obtains the recovery of organic waste by degrading and sterilization of organic matter content.
